Dr. Rao, a commerce graduate and a post graduate in management studies with financial management as specialization and he was a ranker in MBA during 1983-85 batch at Andhra University. He started his career in Andhra University, and later he worked in different capacities like Lecturer, Placement Officer and Head of the Department, in Post Graduate Department of Management Studies of Sir CR Reddy College, Eluru. He got elevated as Principal at Mahammodia Institute of Management and computer science at Khammam. He obtained his Doctorate from HNB GARHWAL Central University, Uttarakhand. He also served as Principal in Mallineni Lakshamaiah MBA College, and also worked as Director, Mallineni Perumallu Educational Society's Group of Institutions at Singarayakonda.

| He was the founder Chairman, Department of Accounting, Banking, Economics, Finance and Statistics at College of Business and Economics, Ministry of National Development, State of Eritrea, North East Africa. Presently he is working as Associate Director & Dean at CMR Technical Campus, Hyderabad. His areas of interest includes Financial Management, Security Analysis and Portfolio Management, Organizational behaviour and human resource management. He has at his credit 10 research articles both in national and international journals. He has guided three M.Phil degrees. He was Academic Councellor for both AP, Ambedkar Open University and indira Gandhi National Open University. He delivered few radio talks on contemporary business issues. He visited Dubai, Eritrea, Nepal and Yamen. |
